Zu weiteren Aktivitäten, um neue Spieler für englischsprachiges Scrabblen in Deutschland zu gewinnen, schreibt Gastgeberin Peggy – passenderweise in englischer Sprache:
On May 13 Brigitte Brath and Peggy Fehily offered a Scrabble Open House to introduce English Scrabble to (hopefully) new players. It went quite well and the participants want to come back although they realized „serious“ (or competitive) Scrabble is a lot more difficult than the kitchen table version. So we are quite happy.
A journalist from the English magazine Spotlight took part as well and will be writing a report, to be published in the July edition.
